Description
The Port Authority of Kansas City, Missouri, is requesting proposals from qualified certified public accounting firms to audit its financial statements for the fiscal year ending April 30, 2027. The audits must comply with generally accepted auditing standards, Government Auditing Standards, the federal Single Audit Act when applicable, OMB Circular A-133 when applicable, and the related OMB Compliance Supplement. The selected firm will also prepare and submit tax filings for the Berkley Park Condominium Association and prepare and file Form 990 for KC CORE, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The engagement may be renewed annually for up to five years. The procurement is an RFP involving potential discussions and negotiations rather than a competitive bid.
