Description
Otay Water District is soliciting comprehensive janitorial services for its Administration, Operations, Warehouse, and Treatment Plant buildings, along with seven remote facility restrooms. The scope includes routine cleaning; restroom and breakroom sanitation; waste and recycling removal; floor care; interior glass cleaning; periodic detail cleaning; and related services. Facility floor plans identify approximately 34,805 square feet across the administrative, operations, treatment plant, laboratory, warehouse, and shop areas, with certain white or unshaded areas excluded from routine service unless otherwise specified in the service matrix. The agreement has an initial two-year term beginning January 1, 2027, with three optional one-year renewal periods. Award will be based on best value, including qualifications, proposed personnel and staffing, quality control, transition planning, pricing, and other stated criteria. A current California Labor Commissioner janitorial employer registration is required throughout the contract term. Attendance at the mandatory pre-proposal meeting and site walk is required for firms intending to submit proposals.
