Description
Mecklenburg County is re-bidding the Hole 10 Culvert Replacement project at CT Myers Golf Course. The scope of work includes clearing, removing approximately 290 feet of CMP culvert, and installing approximately 290 feet of CPE culvert with a drop inlet structure, along with other related items. Bids must be submitted in writing and marked with the project name, bidder's name, address, and North Carolina Contractor License Number. A bid bond of at least 5% of the base bid amount is required, payable to the Owner. The successful bidder will also be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of the contract price. Bidders must be licensed General Contractors in compliance with NCGS87. Bids cannot be withdrawn for 60 days after opening. Mecklenburg County encourages bidders to include certified Minority-owned or Women-owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) as subcontractors, with achievement goals of 5% for MBE and 3% for WBE.
