Description
Union County, through Union County Water, is soliciting Phase 1 unpriced technical bids from qualified suppliers for sodium hypochlorite 12% trade/10% weight for potable-water treatment. The estimated annual requirement is approximately 55,000 gallons, delivered in full tanker loads of approximately 4,000 to 5,000 gallons within five working days after receipt of an order. Suppliers must provide tanker delivery, transfer hoses and pumping equipment, required personal protective equipment, compliant labeling, spill-prevention capability, safety data sheets, and certificates of analysis. The chemical must meet ANSI/AWWA B300 requirements, NSF/ANSI Standard 60, specified purity and contaminant limits, and the stated sodium hypochlorite and available-chlorine ranges. Phase 1 submissions must be unpriced and include the required technical, qualification, compliance, and solicitation forms; pricing will be submitted only by suppliers invited to the Phase 2 online reverse auction. The contract has an initial one-year term with four additional one-year renewal options, subject to the County’s discretion and appropriations.
