Description
This project involves the general construction, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services for a new two-story, 17,000 square foot administration and simulator building. The scope also includes site development of approximately one acre, encompassing the extension of water, natural gas, stormwater, sanitary sewer, communication, and off-site electric utilities. The estimated construction cost ranges are as follows: General Construction ($5,000,001.00 - $6,000,000.00), HVAC ($400,001.00 - $600,000.00), Plumbing ($800,001.00 - $1,000,000.00), and Electrical ($1,000,001.00 - $1,500,000.00). Liquidated damages are estimated at $1,500.00 per day for General Construction, $160.00 per day for HVAC, $270.00 per day for Plumbing, and $370.00 per day for Electrical. This solicitation is a rebid of a previous opportunity. Bidders must meet Small Diverse Business (SDB) and Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) participation goals, which are 13.0% SDB and 3.0% VBE for General Construction; 1.0% SDB and 3.0% VBE for Plumbing; and 23.0% SDB and 3.0% VBE for Electrical. Bids will only be accepted electronically through www.pasupplierportal.state.pa.us.
