Description
This solicitation is for the repair or modification of a specific circuit breaker, identified by NSN 7H-5925-015135765. The Government has determined that it is uneconomical to purchase the data rights or reverse engineer this part. This requirement is pursuant to Emergency Acquisition Flexibilities (EAF). The resultant award of this solicitation will be issued bilaterally, requiring the contractor's written acceptance prior to execution. All contractual documents (i.e., contracts, purchase orders, task orders, delivery orders, and modifications) related to the instant procurement are considered to be "issued" by the Government when copies are either deposited in the mail, transmitted by facsimile, or sent by other electronic commerce methods such as email. The Government's acceptance of the contractor's proposal constitutes a bilateral agreement to "issue" contractual documents as detailed herein. If the offeror is not the Original End Manufacturer (OEM) of the material called out in the requirement, the OEM must be stated (Company Name and CAGE) and the offeror must provide a signed letter of authorization as a distributor on the OEM's letterhead. If the requirement will be packaged at a location different from the offeror's address, the offeror shall provide the name, street address, and CAGE of the facility. Any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will be DO certified for national defense under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS). For repairs only: Once evaluation of the item(s) is complete, the government requires submission of a cost proposal that reflects the actual costs, and the extent of repair work required for the item(s). Interested parties may obtain copies of Military and Federal Specifications and Standards, Qualified Products Lists (QPLs), Qualified Product Databases (QPDs), Military Handbooks, and other standardized documents from the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) at Document Automation and Production Service (DAPS) in Philadelphia, PA. Documents that are not available for downloading from ASSIST-Quick Search can be ordered from the DODSSP website using the ASSIST Shopping Wizard after obtaining a DODSSP Customer Account by following the registration procedures.
