Description
This solicitation is for a retainer adapter, identified by NSN 1H-4470-010531568-X3, with Technical Data Package (TDP) Version 006. The required quantity is 6 each. Delivery is required to two locations: W25G1U, DLA Distribution, New Cumberland, PA 17070-5002, and W62G2T, DLA Distribution San Joaquin, Tracy, CA 95304-5000. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1, as the rights to use the data needed to purchase or repair this part are not owned by the government and cannot be obtained economically. This notice is a statement of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond. Proposals received within 45 days of publication will be considered. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on responses is at the government's discretion. Award will be made only if the offeror, product, service, or manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award per FAR clause 52.209-1.
