The Ann Arbor Downtown Development Authority seeks a qualified team to provide as-needed professional support for public art and placemaking projects. Services may include public art and project-area planning, site evaluation and visuals, cost and timeline recommendations, technical and installation planning, maintenance planning, and support for calls for art and artist selection. The contractor will also manage artist communications, coordinate with the DDA and City staff, and support installation approvals, inspection, and quality control. The proposal must include professional qualifications and resumes for proposed consulting personnel, descriptions of at least three completed public art project-management projects with client references and contact information, a proposed work plan, and a fee proposal. The fee proposal must be separately sealed. The contract pricing is firm for two years, with a possible mutually agreed two-year extension; rates may increase by no more than 3% at renewal.
