Description
This opportunity is for comprehensive automotive body repair, structural fabrication, and industrial refinishing services to restore a 2010 Pierce Contender Pumper Fire Apparatus to a mission-ready and aesthetically uniform condition. The required services include body and structural repairs such as removing and replacing rub rails, fender crowns, and two Gortite roll-up doors, as well as rear grab handles and wheel liners. Fabrication, paint, and bodywork will restore structural integrity and match the existing vehicle's paint code, gloss, and texture. Replacement graphics and striping will also be manufactured or procured and installed. All replacement components must be New-Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or functional equivalents, and all repairs must meet OEM standards to ensure the vehicle remains mission capable. Upon completion, all electrical sensors and lighting associated with replaced components must be fully functional, and the firetruck must be returned in a clean state, free of debris. All services must be performed within a 40-mile radius of Fort Jackson, SC.
