Description
The City of Hot Springs is seeking a contractor to provide labor, materials, equipment, and complete installation of new engine-generator systems at the Resource Center at 109 Hobson Street. The project includes two natural-gas generator sets: a 225 kVA/180 kW unit for Building 109A and a 169 kVA/135 kW unit for Building 109B, with sound-attenuated enclosures, controllers, batteries, battery chargers, exhaust and fuel connections, grounding, seismic protection, and related accessories. The work also includes automatic transfer switches, electrical distribution and control wiring, conduits, testing, commissioning, and load-bank testing. The specifications require new commercial-market equipment, manufacturer and factory-authorized service support, certified shop drawings and product submittals, operating and maintenance manuals, as-built drawings, permits and inspections, and compliance with applicable electrical, safety, Buy America, Davis-Bacon, HUD, and Section 3 requirements. The bid is a lump-sum construction proposal. Required response materials include the bid forms and acknowledgments, Buy America certification, liability-insurance certificate, bid-bond certificate when applicable, Arkansas commercial-contractor licensing certificate, business and registration information, and other requested certifications or attachments.
