Description
The Mobile County Commission is requesting proposals from qualified firms or individuals to update the 2016 Africatown Neighborhood Plan into a comprehensive, implementation-oriented master plan. The work includes professional planning, community engagement, economic development, implementation strategy, marketing, and design consulting services. The updated plan must address physical, programmatic, cultural, economic, and investment priorities; current conditions and ongoing initiatives; civil rights and cultural heritage tourism; infrastructure, services, quality of life, and economic opportunity; and a clear roadmap for priority projects, estimated costs, phasing, responsible parties, timelines, funding opportunities, governance, and measurable implementation steps. Respondents must describe prior experience with projects similar in nature and scope.
