Description
Bienville Parish Police Jury is requesting Statements of Qualifications from qualified engineering firms for the Safe Room Project, Parish Project No. DR-4611-0128-LA, RFQ No. 1. The selected firm will provide engineering services whose detailed scope will be defined in the official RFQ information packet. Selection will be based on committee review of qualifications, stated criteria, and work references, followed by negotiation of a fixed-sum contract and engineering fee. Responding firms must be registered and in good standing with the Louisiana State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors and must include current registration certificates with their submissions. Firms must also be prepared to provide an audited overhead rate for contract negotiations. The project will follow applicable FEMA Hazard Mitigation Assistance requirements, Louisiana requirements, and parish standards. Minority, disadvantaged, veteran-owned, and women-owned business participation is encouraged.
