Description
The City seeks a New Jersey-licensed engineer to advise the Mayor, Common Council, and Brownfield Development Area Steering Committee; attend meetings as requested; coordinate with the City Clerk/Administrator on brownfield projects; assist with obligations under the City's memorandum of understanding with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection; and provide engineering, consulting, and oversight for brownfield projects. Minimum qualifications include current New Jersey authorization to practice environmental consulting, NJDEP Subsurface Evaluator certification, at least five years of environmental-services experience, and at least two years serving a New Jersey municipality. The selected consultant must carry at least $1 million in professional liability insurance for errors and omissions. Applicants must submit a proposal with a resume and/or other documentation demonstrating minimum qualifications, responses to the listed experience and availability questions, and the required Pay to Play and combined Russia/Belarus and Iran certification forms. Two proposal copies are required, with one marked “Original.”
