Description
Family Connections, Inc. is soliciting sealed bids for the Wellness House Tile Floor Renovation Project. The project requires compliance with Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity, and disclosure of Partners and Stockholders. All contractors and subcontractors must adhere to Section 3 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1968 and prevailing wage requirements (State & Federal). Bidders must be registered with the State of New Jersey for Public Works Contractor Registration and submit proof of business registration. A bid bond of 10% of the total base bid (not exceeding $20,000) and a Certificate of Surety for a performance bond are required. Additionally, a current Unique Entity Identity Number from the System for Award Management (SAM) must be submitted with the proposal. The contract is funded by Essex County Community Development Block Grant Funds, making the Davis Bacon Act and Federal Labor Standards applicable.
