Description
This solicitation is for the lease and maintenance of three portable traffic signals for use during protective operations in Palm Beach, Florida. The contract will be a Firm Fixed-Price award. The portable traffic signals must meet specific technical requirements, including 180-degree rotation, 12-inch diameter LED heads, a minimum mast arm clearance of 17 feet, and a battery system with 21 days of solar autonomy. The controller specifications include a real-time traffic management system, onboard operation display, and triple redundant wireless communication systems (900MHz Radio, 2.4GHz WiFi, and 3G/4G LTE Cellular). The system must also include continuous remote monitoring by certified flaggers, with the ability to adjust timing and phasing as necessary. Data and video from dual traffic and work zone cameras must be recorded and viewable via a web interface. Maintenance requirements include regular inspections of tires, fenders, and the trailer's finish. The contractor will be on-call for service calls and must submit work orders for repairs. The period of performance includes a base year (August 21, 2026 - August 20, 2027), Option Year 1 (August 21, 2027 - August 20, 2028), and Option Year 2 (August 21, 2028 - February 20, 2029). This acquisition is set aside for small business concerns.
