Description
The Loxahatchee River Environmental Control District is soliciting licensed underground utility contractors to provide as-needed low-pressure sewer system construction services. The scope includes directional drilling, direct burial and pneumatic-mole installation of low-pressure force mains, manhole coring, force-main connections, single and double services, flushing ports, air/vacuum valves, isolation valves, casing installation, dewatering, erosion and sediment control, road and sidewalk restoration, sod or seeding, surveying, testing, and related labor, equipment, materials, permits, and regulatory compliance. The contract also includes on-call and emergency services, with mobilization required within four hours of the District's request and active repair work required within 24 hours. Bidders must be Florida underground utility contractors with licensed employees, at least five years of experience in Palm Beach County and/or Martin County, and must submit references, licensing evidence, health, safety, and environmental documentation, OSHA records, an environmental and safety plan, and applicable certifications. The award may be made by aggregate, line item, or group based on best value, including cost, schedule compliance, past performance, and equipment quality.
