Description
The City of St. Petersburg is seeking one vendor to supply and deliver high-calcium quicklime (calcium oxide) on an as-needed basis to its COSME Water Treatment Plant. Estimated annual usage is approximately 1,800 dry tons, with average deliveries of about 25 tons; pricing must include delivery, pumping the product into the storage tank, and all hoses, connectors, fittings, equipment, labor, and spill-response responsibilities. The product must comply with AWWA B202-25 as modified by the solicitation, including at least 90% available calcium oxide, a minimum 42°C three-minute temperature rise, no more than 5% insoluble matter, and specified sizing requirements. The vendor must provide a Certificate of Analysis with each shipment and manufacturer labels and Safety Data Sheets before beginning work. Delivery personnel and vehicles must comply with applicable hazardous-material transportation requirements. The agreement has a three-year initial term with two optional one-year renewals, and subcontractors are not permitted.
