Description
Torrance County is soliciting proposals from qualified and New Mexico-licensed insurance carriers to provide fully insured vision benefits for approximately 138 eligible employees, including 96 currently enrolled participants. The County seeks comprehensive and competitive coverage, broad and narrow provider-network options, flexible plan designs, claims administration, online employer and employee tools, customer service, wellness or wellbeing programs, and performance guarantees. Proposals should identify any deviations from current benefit levels, commission rates and structures, rate guarantees or caps, wellness funds, and implementation credits. The procurement is for a one-year contract beginning January 1, 2027, with annual extensions of up to three additional years, for a maximum term of four years. The procurement may result in multiple awards, and subcontracting is not allowed. Offerors must complete the required exhibits in their original Word or Excel formats and submit the required proposal forms and exhibits with their response.
