Description
Bergen County is soliciting multiple catalog vendors to provide park and playground equipment, parts, general supplies, delivery, installation, and related maintenance or repair services for County using agencies and New Jersey Cooperative Purchasing Alliance members. Vendors must be official distributors for the manufacturers and catalogs they offer, submit catalog or price-list information and discounts, and identify factory-certified installers. Installation personnel must be Certified Playground Safety Inspectors where applicable. The contract establishes catalog pricing with no guaranteed minimum purchase. The solicitation requires delivery, staging, storage, installation coordination, applicable prevailing-wage compliance, manufacturer authorization letters, electronic catalogs or price sheets, warranties, and required bid forms. The initial contract term is two years, with extensions permitted by law upon mutual agreement; the posting description also identifies a 12-month renewal option. Cooperative participation carries a 1% administrative fee on qualifying sales, with quarterly sales reporting and payment obligations.
