Description
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, through PennDOT District 11, is soliciting bids for as-needed graffiti removal at Department-maintained facilities and locations on or adjacent to state highways in Allegheny, Beaver, and Lawrence Counties. Work may involve metal, concrete, stone, wood, block, brick, and painted surfaces, using approved methods such as painting, chemical cleaning, and propelled abrasives. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, tools, motorized equipment, safety devices, traffic-control equipment, and related property-damage and public-liability coverage, and must restore damaged surfaces to match surrounding areas. The awarded contractor will respond to work calls, generally mobilizing within three business days or the next calendar day for emergencies, and complete assigned sites within 15 business days unless otherwise approved. The purchase order is valid for two years with two additional one-year renewal periods. The procurement is reserved for businesses holding valid Pennsylvania Department of General Services Small Business certification, and bids must be submitted electronically through the Commonwealth's SRM system. The Worker Protection and Investment Certification Form (BOP-2201) is included in the solicitation package and must be completed and submitted with the bid.
