Description
Flathead County is seeking a complete seven-node Proxmox/Ceph compute-cluster hardware solution and redundant network fabric. The base proposal must include seven identical 1U compute nodes, at least 100 TB of raw enterprise NVMe storage per node, four active 100 GbE fabric switches plus one identical cold spare, one 48-port 1/10/25 GbE top-of-rack switch, required NICs, optics, cables, rails, power components, licenses, freight, documentation, and five years of 8x5 next-business-day hardware-replacement support. New or professionally refurbished equipment is permitted if it satisfies the same technical, lifecycle, health, firmware-access, acceptance, and support requirements. The total evaluated base proposal price may not exceed $300,000; an additional top-of-rack switch, a second cold-spare 100 GbE switch, and optional fabric-switch support are separately priced alternates. County staff will rack, cable, configure, commission, and migrate the environment, so vendor professional services are not required. Proposals must demonstrate compliance with detailed compute, storage, networking, interoperability, documentation, delivery, acceptance, support, and equipment-condition requirements. The response must include a completed compliance matrix, technical solution narrative, bill of materials, chassis and PCIe-lane diagram, network port map, benchmark and equivalency evidence, equipment health and condition evidence, support plan, delivery and acceptance response, qualifications and references, insurance evidence, pricing form, and assumptions or exceptions.
