Description
BC Timber Sales is soliciting a contractor to perform mechanical site preparation and mounding on approximately 13.7 hectares of cutblocks in support of reforestation. The work is intended to control herbaceous vegetation before replanting or fill planting in areas where reforestation has failed; contractors must preserve healthy existing crop trees where feasible. The work is for the 2027 field season and must be completed by October 15, 2027. The tender package includes treatment blocks, maps, access information, safety and environmental requirements, subcontracting provisions, insurance requirements, and a tender offer form and price schedule. Pricing is evaluated on a fixed-fee basis, with the total bid price excluding applicable GST and PST charged to the Province.
