Description
The City of Centerville is soliciting bids for resurfacing Centerville Station Road from Brainard Woods Drive to Bill Yeck Park and replacing an existing concrete sidewalk with an asphalt multi-use path. The project also includes curb and curb-ramp replacement, catch basin repairs and replacements, pavement markings, grading and drainage work, traffic maintenance, utility coordination, and related restoration. An alternate extends the multi-use path from the west entrance of Bill Yeck Park to Park East Court; the City may award the alternate with the base bid or decline it. Addenda added and clarified bid items, including mobilization, maintaining traffic, staking and layout, undercutting, subgrade treatment, erosion-control allowances, and full-depth pavement removal and replacement. The updated engineer's estimate is $845,023. The selected contractor must coordinate with a future local project, submit a multi-use-path construction plan for City approval at the preconstruction meeting, and complete all work by October 1, 2027. The solicitation requires electronic bidding through Bid Express and includes bid-guaranty, insurance, and post-award bonding requirements in the bid documents.
