NYSERDA is soliciting proposals for the Energy Economy Planning and Growth Program, which aims to advance New York's leadership in energy economic development by attracting investments and jobs in the clean energy supply chain. Funding is available in three categories: Category A) Regional Planning, providing technical assistance for regional energy economy strategies; Category B) Industry Plans, funding plans to attract and grow specific industries across multiple regions; and Category C) Implementation Support, targeted investment for implementation activities. For Categories A and B, proposers must work with NYSERDA prequalified contractors, while Category C does not require this. Eligible proposers include economic development organizations, industrial development agencies, business or cluster associations, and government economic development departments.
