Description
Denton County is soliciting bids for demolition and removal work at Briarwood Retreat. The scope includes complete demolition and removal of nine structures and an in-ground swimming pool, plus partial demolition of a house porch and associated components. Work includes utility disconnection and capping, debris hauling and lawful off-site disposal, backfilling, compaction, grading, and site cleanup. The contractor must protect structures, utilities, trees, and other improvements designated to remain, and comply with applicable permits, regulations, and site-specific requirements. A five-percent contingency allowance must be included in the base bid. A bid bond equal to five percent of the maximum bid is required with the bid; the successful bidder must provide payment and performance bonds, each for 100% of the contract price.
