Description
The Administrative Office of the Courts, on behalf of the District Court of Maryland for Allegany County, seeks a contractor to provide labor, materials, supervision, and expertise to remove and replace existing AiPhone stations and cabling. The project includes furnishing and installing ten IX-series AiPhone stations—seven on the first floor and three on the second floor—along with one card reader and one electronic strike at the Commissioners’ Office. The new systems must integrate with existing electronic strikes and operate without internet, external-network, or Judiciary IT-network connectivity. The contractor must test all doors, provide at least two hours of training, furnish an operation manual and reference guide, provide a two-year maintenance warranty, and submit a service-level agreement with maximum response times of four hours for emergency requests and eight hours for non-emergency requests. Work must be performed after business hours and completed within 180 calendar days after purchase-order receipt, subject to material availability. Bidders must have at least five years of experience installing access-control/intercom systems and hold an active Maryland State Police Security Systems Agency license.
