Description
The Tennessee Department of Transportation is soliciting bids for up to four regional awards to rent, deliver, service, and remove portable sanitation units across Tennessee. The scope includes standard portable restrooms; two- and four-stall bathrooms; ADA-compliant restroom trailers; handwashing stations; restroom trailers with showers; and shower trailers. Services include delivery, pickup, weekly pumping and wastewater disposal, cleaning and sanitizing, restocking consumables, emergency response within four hours, non-routine service within 48 hours, and service reporting after each visit. Contractors must provide all labor, equipment, materials, permits, licenses, and certifications required for performance, including a current Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation septic tank pumping contractor permit. The solicitation requires online responses through the State of Tennessee Supplier Portal and includes 52 regional and service line items. Subcontracting requires prior written approval, and the prime contractor remains responsible for all work.
