Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking quotations for 34 units of metallic tubing, NSN 4710-00-278-2221. The required item is copper alloy, hard-drawn, plain round seamless tubing with a nominal 0.060-inch wall thickness, 1.625-inch nominal outside diameter, H58 temper, and 20-foot straight lengths. The tubing is used on Detroit Diesel engine-powered landing craft, Navy Design LCM 8, Mod 1. The procurement requires domestic-material compliance, destination inspection and acceptance, metal certification, continuous identification marking in accordance with SAE-AMS-STD-185, and packaging, preservation, marking, and palletization in accordance with the specified military standards. Quotes must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System. Delivery is required 205 days after order, FOB origin, with shipment to the DLA Distribution New Cumberland Facility.
