Brookhaven National Laboratory is requesting quotations for high-purity gold-copper alloy brazing materials: four configurations of formed grade 1 wire rings and one foil strip. The requirements include 50Au-50Cu rings made from 0.040-inch-diameter wire with outside diameters of 5.813, 6.125, and 6.004 inches, plus a 35Au-65Cu ring with a 4.920-inch outside diameter; each ring may have a maximum 0.02-inch gap. The solicitation also requires 100 inches of 0.002-inch-thick by 0.35-inch-wide 35Au-65Cu foil strip supplied on a spool. Quotes must include the vendor's UEI number, lead time, and country of origin for each line item. The attached QA-101 document establishes applicable supplier quality, material traceability, packaging, inspection, and certification requirements.
