Description
The Indiana Department of Natural Resources is soliciting a contractor to provide a two-year preventative maintenance program for five emergency generators and related transfer switches at Pokagon State Park and Trine State Recreation Area. The scope includes initial inspections, scheduled inspections and servicing, testing, cleaning, adjustments, repairs, parts replacement, fuel testing, maintenance documentation, and updates to the equipment schedules. The contractor must perform annual and semiannual inspections, as well as general inspections every other month when an annual or semiannual inspection is not scheduled. The contractor must provide emergency response outside planned service visits, including a telephone response within 30 minutes and onsite service within a timeframe agreed upon with the site property manager. Services must be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with manufacturer recommendations, applicable codes, NFPA standards, and industry standards. The solicitation requires the bidder to submit the completed DAPW 35 quotation form in a single sealed envelope, with original handwritten signatures, and to perform at least 15% of the work with its own forces.
