Description
Cornell University is soliciting bids from one general contractor for the Clark Hall Energy Conservation Upgrade. The contractor will provide the labor, services, materials, supplies, equipment, and related work required by the contract documents, including coordination and approval of trade subcontractors and material suppliers. Bidders must submit a base bid, bid proposal certification form, 10% bid bond, bond surety company information, bonding rate for change orders, proposed project team and resumes, proposed project schedule, and any proposed substitutions. The bid must be submitted electronically through Cornell's electronic project management Bid Portal by 2:00 PM on October 27, 2026. Performance and labor and material payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract price, are required from the successful bidder before on-site construction begins. Work must start within five calendar days after written authorization to proceed and reach substantial completion by July 30, 2027.
