Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District, is soliciting sealed bids for the purchase and removal of Government-owned pine and hardwood timber at Red River Army Depot in Texarkana, Texas. The timber is salvage from insect damage, storm damage, fire, or construction sites and will be designated by the Depot Forester. Estimated volumes include 1,000 tons of pine sawtimber, 1,000 tons of pine pulpwood, 200 tons of pine chip-n-saw, 200 tons of hardwood sawtimber, 500 tons of hardwood pulpwood, and 200 tons of hardwood pallet wood. The contract is a non-exclusive delivery order with per-unit pricing, and the successful bidder must be able to respond to harvesting notifications within 24 hours. Harvesting must be completed by September 30, 2027. A bid deposit of $1,000 is required for Item 1, and a performance deposit or bond of $1,000 is required within 10 days of acceptance. Inspections are available by appointment with the Depot Forester.
