Description
The U.S. Air Force is soliciting a turnkey Biomedical Equipment Technician work center furniture package on a brand-name-or-equal basis. The requirement includes 20 L-shaped technician workbenches, six L-shaped administrative workbenches, two straight ESD workbenches, medium drawer cabinets, tall hybrid and shelf storage cabinets, 20 technician chairs, and eight administrative chairs. Workbenches and seating must provide ESD protection, and technician workstations must include integrated power, grounding hardware, overhead shelving, and LED task lighting. The furniture must be heavy-duty and suitable for an industrial warehouse environment supporting the testing, calibration, repair, and maintenance of sensitive medical devices. The contractor must provide freight, indoor delivery, uncrating, complete mechanical assembly, leveling, electrical safety testing, verification of ESD grounding connections, functional checks, and off-site disposal of installation waste. On-site work must be performed during standard government duty hours, and the required delivery and installation timeline is 60 calendar days or less after receipt of order, with delivery scheduled no later than September 30, 2026. Quotes will be evaluated using a best-value tradeoff based on technical capability, delivery and installation schedule, past performance, and price.
