Description
Lewis County Public Works is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from one qualified geotechnical engineering consulting firm for task-order services during 2027, with a one-year agreement and a mutual option to extend for one additional year. The anticipated maximum total contract value is $350,000, subject to increase at the County's option. Work will support bridges, culverts, roads, trails, public works facilities, emergency responses, and slide-related projects. The scope includes site and subsurface investigations, drilling and soil or rock sampling, instrumentation, laboratory testing, geotechnical and geological analysis, slope stability and foundation design, pavement and drainage design, geotechnical reports, construction-related services, landslide investigations, emergency response, and preparation of plan documents, specifications, and estimates. SOQs are limited to 15 pages, excluding the cover page and certain additional materials, and must demonstrate qualifications, relevant experience, team organization, references, availability, response capability, and proposed resources and subcontractors. The selected firm must include Washington-licensed geotechnical engineer(s) or geologist(s).
