Description
The District of Central Saanich is seeking an offer for the supply and installation of three primary directional signs. The specified signs include concrete foundations, baseplates with steel angle support insert sleeves, painted aluminum semi-circle posts, painted metal panels with screen-printed text, horizontally mounted metal support slats, and a flush-mounted dimensional aluminum logo. Pricing should be quoted in Canadian dollars, FOB the Central Saanich Public Services Yard. The successful contractor must provide a certificate of insurance upon acceptance, including $5,000,000 comprehensive general liability coverage, $2,000,000 liability insurance through the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia for licensed motor vehicles, additional-insured status for the District, a cross-liability clause, and 30 days' cancellation or material-change notice. The contractor must also comply with British Columbia workers' compensation and occupational health and safety requirements and become the prime contractor as required under British Columbia law.
