Description
The City of Indianapolis Department of Public Works seeks a qualified consultant for preliminary engineering services for roadway reconstruction and streetscape improvements on Market Street, from Pennsylvania Street to Delaware Street. The project is federally funded and includes an estimated construction amount of $5.5 million; this is not the stated value of the engineering services contract. The Letter of Interest must address firm qualifications, key staff and subconsultants, project approach, technical understanding, cost containment, innovative ideas, staff capacity, and confirmation of a project-site visit. The selected consultant must meet the required prequalification categories, which include environmental document preparation, surveying, roadway and bridge design, right-of-way planning, appraisal, project management, and construction inspection. An Affirmative Action Certification and supporting DBE documentation are required if the DBE goal is greater than zero; the goal percentage is left blank in the provided RFP.
