Description
The City of Richmond Police Department seeks one new, current-production armored rescue vehicle from a manufacturer or authorized supplier. The vehicle must provide independently documented rifle-threat protection, carry at least ten fully equipped personnel, support protected casualty evacuation using a litter or stretcher, and include an integrated hydraulic breaching system. Required equipment also includes four-wheel drive, run-flat or equivalent mobility, a 360-degree camera system, rear HVAC, intercom/public-address capability, and California-compliant emergency lighting. The base proposal must include all mandatory equipment, testing, documentation, delivery, and operator/fleet training. Proposers must provide technical compliance information, independent ballistic and safety documentation, manufacturer experience and reliability information, at least three comparable public-safety agency references, delivery and warranty details, and a completed pricing proposal. Optional equipment must be priced separately. The solicitation requires electronic submission through the City's BidsOnline/PlanetBids system.
