Description
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is soliciting bids for three related projects at Orange Hammock Wildlife Management Area: supply, delivery, spreading, and grading of bank-run shell road base on McCall Ranch Road; two grading events for approximately 3.5 miles of McCall Ranch Road; and supply and delivery of additional shell road base for stockpiling. The work includes approximately 112 loads or 2,613 tons for the road repair, plus approximately 25 loads or 583 tons for stockpiling. Pricing must include materials, delivery, freight, equipment, and all work necessary to complete the project. The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, maintain an on-site representative during unloading, comply with applicable laws and management-area rules, repair damage caused by its operations, and provide written insurance verification before work begins. A mandatory pre-bid conference/site visit is required for bid responsiveness. The contract is effective for one year upon purchase-order issuance, with project completion required by June 1, 2027. Subcontracting is permitted, and the bid must include at least three verifiable references for similar completed projects.
