SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University intends to purchase KCI USA negative pressure wound therapy and related products through a Vizient-awarded contract under New York State procurement authority. The opportunity is not a formal competitive process and is open to vendors offering the specified products or approved clinical equivalents. Equivalent products must meet the clinical performance of the KCI USA products. Vendors proposing equivalents must provide supporting clinical documentation and equipment at no cost for examination, demonstration, and trial. Vendors must be authorized to sell the products under the Premier contract or offer an approved equivalent. The successful contractor must submit valid and current New York workers' compensation and disability forms.
