Description
Houston County Commission is soliciting sealed bids for the Cottonwood Concessions project. The work must follow plans and specifications prepared by Snell & Associates Architects, Inc., dated August 5, 2026. Bidders must submit proposals on forms furnished by the architect or copies thereof. A cashier’s check or bid bond payable to Houston County Commission, equal to at least 5% of the bid amount and not exceeding $10,000, must accompany the proposal. Performance and payment bonds and evidence of insurance will be required at contract signing. Bidders must have at least three years of experience and five equivalent projects, and certain bidders must provide Alabama contractor licensing evidence. Bid documents are available from the architect upon a refundable deposit.
