Description
The City of Blakely is soliciting sealed bids from a single prime contractor to rehabilitate its existing 250,000-gallon and 1,000,000-gallon elevated water storage tanks. Work includes surface preparation and painting of the exterior and interior of both tanks, along with all other work identified in the contract documents. Bids must be submitted on a lump-sum basis, including prices for all alternate bid items; failure to price an alternate bid item will result in an unresponsive bid. Addendum No. 1 changes the bid deadline to September 17, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. local time and adds paint-testing results concerning lead and chromium levels in the existing tank coatings to the available project information. Bidding documents are available electronically as PDF files for a non-refundable $250 charge from the issuing office.
