The City of Cottondale, Florida is accepting sealed bids for the construction and replacement of Pump Station No. 1. The project generally includes clearing and grubbing, wet well installation, pumps, electrical work, controls, and connection to the existing force main, along with all necessary appurtenances. The work must be completed within 115 consecutive calendar days. Bidders must hold a current Florida General Contractors or Underground Utility license, provide evidence of registration with the Florida Secretary of State if a foreign corporation, and submit a Certificate of Good Standing from the Florida Department of Revenue. Subcontractor licensure must also be provided. The successful bidder will be required to furnish 100% performance and payment bonds. The project is funded by the Rebuild Florida Mitigation General Infrastructure Program (CDBG-NR 23DB-N08).
