Description
The City of Gastonia is soliciting bids for electrical improvements to the East Blower Building at the Long Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant. Bidders must be licensed contractors in North Carolina and submit a Contractor's Pre-Qualification Form and bid security of at least 5% of the proposal. A bid bond may be submitted in lieu of a cash deposit or certified check. Each bid must also include a letter from the bidder's insurance representative certifying that the insurer has reviewed the contract insurance requirements and will issue the required policies if the bidder is awarded the contract. The successful bidder must provide performance security for the full contract amount.
