Description
The City seeks a qualified architectural or public safety facility planning firm to provide project-specific programming and pre-design services for a proposed fire station. Work includes assessing operational needs; developing room-by-room space requirements and functional relationships; reviewing site feasibility and constraints; preparing at least two conceptual site/building organization alternatives; evaluating applicable codes and NFPA standards; and considering sustainability, resilience, budget, and phasing. Deliverables include a written facility program, space and area schedule, adjacency diagrams, conceptual site arrangements, assumptions, risks, recommendations, and a presentation. Editable electronic files and PDF reports or presentations are required. The initial scope excludes full design and construction-phase services unless separately negotiated. No fee proposal is requested with the qualifications submission.
