The Federal Highway Administration's Western Federal Lands Highway Division is soliciting proposals for pavement preservation work in the Cedar Grove area of Kings Canyon National Park, California. The project includes a base schedule of 14.70 miles of pavement preservation and parking areas, and an optional schedule (Option X) consisting of 0.84 miles of asphalt overlay. Work includes micro surfacing (Types 2 and 3), crack cleaning and sealing, asphalt concrete patching, full depth reclamation, roadway aggregate placement, and pavement markings. The estimated price range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. The tentative completion date is Fall 2027. This is a firm-fixed-price task order contract under the Western Region Pavement Preservation MATOC. Only the prime contractors listed in the solicitation are eligible to submit proposals; this notice is for subcontracting opportunities.
