OGDENSBURG RFP The City of Ogdensburg (the “City”) is requesting proposals from qualified professional engineering firms to provide final design, permitting, bidding assistance, State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQR) services, and full-time construction oversight (resident engineering inspection) services for the Downtown Mall Green Infrastructure Improvements Project (the “Project”), located at and around 212 Ford Street in the City of Ogdensburg, St. Lawrence County, New York. Description
The City of Ogdensburg is soliciting proposals from qualified professional engineering firms to provide final design, permitting, bidding assistance, State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQR) services, and full-time construction oversight, including resident engineering inspection, for the Downtown Mall Green Infrastructure Improvements Project. The project includes green infrastructure and stormwater management practices such as bioretention, permeable pavement, and downspout disconnection. The selected consultant must hold a New York State Certificate of Authorization to practice engineering, with project design directed by a New York State-licensed professional engineer. Firms must demonstrate experience designing and permitting green infrastructure or stormwater management practices in New York State, including at least one completed Environmental Facilities Corporation or New York State Department of Environmental Conservation grant-funded project, as well as experience preparing SEQR documentation such as Environmental Assessment Forms and Determinations of Significance. The project is funded in part through the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation Green Infrastructure Grant Program, Project No. GRG #2254, and includes combined Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprise participation goals of 30%—15% MBE and 15% WBE—and a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business participation goal of 6%.
