Description
The U.S. Army is conducting the first phase of a competitive prototype acquisition process for the Common Autonomous Multi-Domain Launcher (CAML)-Lite. Respondents must propose one or more complete, integrated, autonomous or optionally crewed launcher systems capable of firing live offensive and defensive munitions, autonomous or assisted reload operations, emplacement and displacement, command and control, all-terrain mobility, air transportability, self-leveling, and onboard power. The proposed system must support a Government-sponsored demonstration at Talisman Sabre 2027 in August 2027, or an approved alternative demonstration no later than September 30, 2027. Solutions Briefs must address Phase 1 demonstration readiness, capability objectives, system maturity, transportation and international logistics, safety and cybersecurity artifacts, modular open-systems architecture, interface documentation, data rights, right-to-repair provisions, relevant recent experience, rough-order-of-magnitude pricing, and required performer investment. Selected respondents may later receive a Request for Prototype Proposal for a firm-fixed-price demonstration effort, additional prototype units, New Equipment Training, Contractor Logistics Support, and potential Phase 2 prototype maturation. The Solutions Brief is limited to 15 one-sided pages, must use at least 12-point font and one-inch margins, and must be submitted as one searchable PDF not exceeding 10 MB.
