Description
The Borough of Ellwood City is soliciting a contractor for CSS separation work involving light and heavy cleaning of sanitary, storm, and combined sewers; internal CCTV inspections in accordance with current NASSCO standards; identification of tap-ins and their sources; removal of roots, grease, protruding service taps, and other obstructions; bypass pumping; traffic control; resident notifications; site restoration; and sewer mapping updates. The contractor must provide qualified personnel and self-propelled pan-and-tilt CCTV equipment, submit PACP inspection files and videos every two weeks, and provide updated digital mapping with each submission and at project completion. The work includes estimated quantities for sewer cleaning and inspection, tap-source identification, protruding tap removal, crew time, map updates, traffic control, mobilization, bonds and insurance, and access/restoration. Work must be completed within 90 calendar days following the Notice to Proceed. A 10 percent bid bond or certified check is required, along with a non-collusion affidavit, Public Works Employment Verification Form, bidder qualifications, and a sample PACP file and CCTV video.
