Description
Calhoun County Commission is soliciting sealed bids from general contractors for HVAC improvements to the Calhoun County Courthouse in Anniston, Alabama. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the engineer or copies thereof and will be publicly opened at the stated deadline. A cashier’s check or bid bond payable to Calhoun County Commission, in an amount of at least 5% of the bid but not more than $10,000, must accompany the proposal. Performance and payment bonds, insurance, applicable Alabama contractor licensing, and required federal debarment and Alabama tax certifications are addressed in the solicitation or bid documents. Plans and specifications are available from Whorton Engineering, Inc.; digital copies require a signed Electronic Files Release Form, and hard copies require a nonrefundable $75 deposit per set.
