Description
The U.S. Air Force is conducting a Request for Information to identify non-commercial sources capable of developing a new qualified source for the B-52 Radar Pressurization Unit (RPU), NSN 1280-00-898-3679, Part Number 101-352. The effort involves manufacturing and testing a form-fit-function replacement, addressing obsolete components and future deficiency reports or material improvement projects, and supporting a projected 10-year requirement of approximately 162 units. Respondents should describe their facilities, engineering and manufacturing capabilities, relevant military-grade electromechanical and pneumatic experience, reverse-engineering capabilities without a complete technical data package, qualification and environmental testing processes, classified-information handling up to Secret, cybersecurity practices, supply-chain and obsolescence management, foreign ownership or influence, continuity of operations, and potential subcontracting. This is market research only; the Government is not requesting proposals or making an award under this notice.
